Description
For this permanent position we are currently looking for enthusiastic qualified NDT Technicians with one or more NDT certificates (Level II PCN EN 473 / ISO 9712). We are looking for several inspectors for our branches in Ridderkerk - Heerenveen - Hengelo - Heerlen - Beverwijk - Dintelmond and Eindhoven.
On the behalf of our clients you will be responsible as NDT Technician for carrying out inspections on various types of steel structures using multiple types of test equipment. Level II technicians are qualified to set up and calibrate equipment and to interpret and evaluate results with respect to applicable codes, standards, and specifications. Level II Technicians organize and report results of NDT.

Do you have one or more certificates of the following inspection techniques:

  • Ultrasonic Testing (UT)
  • Radiographic Testing (RT)
  • Dye Penetrant Testing (PT or LPI)
  • Magnetic Testing (MT or MPI)
  • Film Interpretation (RI)
  • Visual Inspection (VT)
  • Eddy Current Testing (ET)

When you are not in possession of all mentioned NDT levels, you go into training to obtain certificates for the rest of the mentioned NDT techniques to become an allround NDT Technician.

Monday: Perform annual NDT inspection on a roller coaster at an amusement park. Our IRATA team was also on site to carry out inspections at heights and hard-to-reach places.

Tuesday: Performing MT and UT Testing on the main girders of the Haringvliet bridge, which was temporarily voted in due to renovation.

Wednesday: Out early to take X-rays in the field of a number of pipeline welds and develop, assess and make a report later in the day.

Thursday: Giving assistance with various inspection techniques in the construction of a new offshore jacket.

Friday: Not only new construction, but also historical works of art, such as the Hefbrug in Rotterdam, are reviewed. Carrying out hardness measurements on a pressure vessel and discussing the results with the client.

Your profile
  • You have completed a technical degree (e.g. Mechanical Engineering / Shipbuilding)
  • You have one or more NDT certificates (EN473 or ISO9712)
  • Work experience within the technical / metal world is an advantage
  • You are open to and able to work irregularly
  • You don’t mind traveling and love challenge
  • You are solution-oriented, have decisiveness and a sense of responsibility
  • You have excellent knowledge of English language in word and writing and are willing to learn the Dutch language.
  • You have good communication skills and exude enthusiasm
  • In possession of driving license B
  • You are allowed to work in the Netherlands (EU-citizen)
