Mechanical Laboratory

In many industrial applications, material properties are crucial for the longevity of products and structures. The best way to determine material behaviour is to subject it to different loads. In some cases, even to the point of failure. Mechanical destructive testing often yields more information and is easier to interpret than non-destructive testing.

Our mechanical laboratory carries out a wide variety of tensile, bending, impact and hardness tests according to the most widely used ISO and ASTM standards. Our in-house machine shop prepares the specimens for all mechanical tests which makes short lead times possible. Scroll down to find a full overview of the mechanical destructive tests our laboratory carries out and feel free to contact us if you have any questions.
