Eddy Current Testing

Eddy Current Testing is applied to detect deviations and structural differences in a material by measuring the conductivity. Using a coil, a magnetic field is created in the material, thus releasing (measurable) eddy currents.

MME Group applies Eddy Current Testing for different applications:

  • welding inspections
  • aerospace applications
  • manual and automatic testing
  • crack depth measurements
  • layer thickness measurements
  • ferrite content measurements
