Description

For our head office we are looking for a Level III NDT specialist for our Technical Office department. As a Level III NDT specialist you are responsible for designing, working out and complying with all NDT procedures. 
In addition, you will perform inspections according to these or other procedures on behalf of the Technical Bureau. At our Technical Bureau, technical issues are worked out for special, diverse projects on which the specialists can be deployed. The TB department provides technical support on every conceivable level when it comes to Non-Destructive Testing, aimed at the maritime sector, as well as the (petro-)chemical industry. In the position you will have a diverse range of tasks in which you will speak with different clients. 

In this role you will be responsible for the tasks or responsibilities mentioned below. You are an experienced NDT inspector who functions independently, someone who is strong in their feet and eager to share their expertise with our new generation of NDT inspectors!

 

  • Tasks as a Level III NDT specialist
  • Prepare, draft, elaborate and discuss work instructions and procedures with customer or colleague, following technical issues;
  • Advise colleagues on the correct method of working and the corresponding investigation;
  • Provide customers with advice regarding the correct investigation techniques with the corresponding solution;
  • Liaise / maintain contact with suppliers regarding equipment and materials with the aim of purchasing or deploying the correct resources;
  • Shares expertise with investigators to work safely, efficiently and effectively;
  • When necessary, act as the person in charge of technical investigations and arise discussions on technical aspects of the investigations conducted;
  • In consultation with supervisor, provide assistance to colleagues or clients during NDT investigations on site.
Your profile
  • HBO working and thinking level in a technical direction;
  • Preferably in possession of multiple level III NDT certificates or the intention to obtain level III in the near future;
  • In possession of advanced NDT certificates is a plus;
  • Willing to travel nationally and internationally;
  • Communicatively strong;
  • Excellent knowledge of the Dutch and English language in word and writing;
  • Diplomatic skills;
  • Hands-on mentality, advises and acts as needed.
