Description
Due to expansion we are looking for Marine Technical Inspectors. You will be trained to carry out Ultrasonic Thickness Measurements and corrosion inspections on board ships independently. Our Marine Survey Division carries out these inspections all over the world.

If you like to work in different locations with lots of variety, this is the job for you!

Monday: Our inspectors mapped the skin thickness of the historic seagoing tug, 'de Furie'.

Tuesday: A suction pipe measurement at the Maasvlakte. You must not have claustrophobia.

Wednesday: A team flew to Malta to carry out Eddy current testing on container cranes at height.

Thursday: 4 colleagues disembarked in Gibrator after a week at sea. Job done! Then report all activities.

Friday: Special job; Ultrasonic testing of the sheet piling of the marina in Herkingen.

Your profile
  • You have completed a technical degree (e.g. Mechanical Engineering / Shipbuilding)
  • You have one or more NDT certificates (EN473 or ISO9712)
  • Work experience within the technical / metal world is an advantage
  • You are open to and able to work irregularly
  • You don’t mind traveling and love challenge
  • You are solution-oriented, have decisiveness and a sense of responsibility
  • You have excellent knowledge of English language in word and writing and are willing to learn the Dutch language.
  • You have good communication skills and exude enthusiasm
  • In possession of driving license B
  • You are allowed to work in the Netherlands (EU-citizen)
