Accreditation for periodic inspection of amusement devices

MME Group has been accredited by the Dutch Accreditation Council (RvA) as ISO 17020 Type A inspection body for the periodic inspection of rides at amusement parks and fairgrounds. With this, MME Group is one of the few parties where operators and owners of amusement devices can go for maintenance inspections, periodic examinations and Non-Destructive Testing (NDT).

Over time, amusement devices can become a risk to users and bystanders due to wear and tear. Operators have a management obligation. They must ensure that an equipment does not pose a risk to health and safety during its entire lifespan. Legally required periodic inspections by an independent and expert appointed inspection body are an important condition for this.

MME Group is one of the few parties in this field that has been appointed by the Ministry of Health, Welfare and Sport as an inspection body (AKI) for amusement devices. The ISO 17020 accreditation is an additional internationally supported recognition of our independence and expertise.

Due to decades of experience in the field of NDT with inspection methods such as magnetic, penetrant, ultrasonic and radiographic testing and full IRATA certification for performing inspections at height using Rope Access, MME Group offers a unique "one-stop-shop" for quality assurance of fairground and amusement park attractions.
