Corrosion is one of the largest threats to the long-term integrity and profitability of assets across various industries. As an inevitable natural process, it accounts for approximately 3,4% of the global GDP (US $2.5 trillion) in losses, excluding safety and environmental impacts. This has led to a shift from corrective to preventive strategies to enhance reliability and profitability.
The field of corrosion can be overwhelming, especially for those unfamiliar with it. You need a knowledgeable and experienced partner for all corrosion prevention related issues. With over 60 years of accumulated knowledge and experience, MME Group provides comprehensive solutions for corrosion issues at every stage of asset life management.

Systems are usually designed for functions like water delivery, goods transportation and fluid cooling. Corrosion factors are often overlooked, leading to downtime and expensive repairs.
Comprehensive Corrosion Management
Not all systems have benefited from early design assessments for corrosion. Over time, asset functions and conditions may change, necessitating a re-evaluation of the original design.
MME aims to provide practical feedback, grounded in the latest scientific insights, through detailed reports or concise emails with findings and recommendations.
Leading Corrosion Prevention Solutions
With decades of knowledge and experience in corrosion prevention, MME offers advanced solutions, including cathodic protection. For more details, visit, our product pages.

Corrosion is the gradual destruction of materials (usually metals) by chemical and/or electrochemical reaction with their environment. This process converts a refined metal to a more chemically-stable form, such as its oxide, hydroxide or sulfide. Because corrosion gradually destroys the corroding object, it forms a serious risk to all steel structures.
MIC stands for "Microbially Induced Corrosion". This type of corrosion is caused or promoted by microorganisms. Certain types of aerobic and anaerobic bacteria produce different chemical substances that can cause corrosion. In many cases, MIC causes a much faster material reduction than ordinary "rusting".
