This NDT method sends pulses of high-frequency sound into the material that needs to be examined. Reflections of this sound indicate material thickness or possible discontinuities inside the material. Ultrasonic Testing (UT) is used for thickness measurements and finding defects in welds, castings, forgings, plates and rods.

MME Group has an accredited examination centre. That’s why an in-house examination by Hobéon SKO is possible at the end of the course in accordance with NEN-EN ISO 9712.
