The Digital Monitoring Box is a monitoring solution that provides continuous insight into the potential of submerged structures including hulls, harbour walls, and other immersed assets, as well as shaft grounding performance.
By performing real-time measurements of structure potential and shaft grounding performance, the system enables early detection of conditions that may lead to corrosion.
In addition to monitoring the potential of steel or aluminum structures, the Digital Monitoring Box can simultaneously monitor the grounding performance of propeller and thruster shafts. This provides operators with a clear overview of key corrosion protection indicators from a single interface.

The monitoring box can be used as a standalone for either shaft grounding monitoring or structure potential monitoring or as an integrated combination of both. By utilizing pre-selected reference cells tailored to the specific structure material and application, the system delivers accurate data to the controller's interface.
This functionality is suitable for vessels, harbour infrastructure, offshore structures and other submerged assets protected by cathodic protection systems or sacrificial anodes.
When a deviation in potential is detected, the interface immediately displays a color-coded alert, allowing operators to take timely corrective action. The controller can operate efficiently using either the vessel’s standard 24 V DC power supply or a conventional 230 V AC power supply.
By providing continuous insight into structure potential and shaft grounding performance, the system supports proactive maintenance strategies that can help extend asset service life, improve safety, and reduce costly downtime and unexpected maintenance.
